Day 1: Yangon Arrival
Welcome to Myanmar! Our tour guide will await you at the International Yangon Airport. You will then be escorted to your hotel in the city center.
Your highlight for this evening is a dinner in Karaweik Palace, overlooking to the Royal Lake and Shwedagon Tower. Dinner will consist of fine Burmese food and an amazing cultural show.

Day 2: Yangon City Tour
Begin your first Myanmar visit to Shwedagon Pagoda – the most prominent monument in Yangon, which dominates the sky with golden flash, giant spires and holy relics.
We then walk from Sule Pagoda to China Town, covering the exotic streets of Yangon, downtown and British colonial buildings such as Emmanuel Church and Inland Water Buildings.
Visit Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda’s 70 meters long reclining Buddha is Myanmar’s holiest monument.
End the day with some shopping time at the Bogyoke Market – one of the biggest markets in Yangon.

Day 3: Yangon – Bagan
Travel from Yangon to Bagan and start your day with a visit to Shwezigone Pagoda, which is believed to enshrine a bone and tooth of Gautama Buddha. After, we’ll visit Ananda, Sulamani Temples.
The afternoon will consist of a visit to the Bagan Archaeological Museum and learn the traditional way local people make Bagan’s famous lacquer wares.
We’ll end our day by enjoying a beautiful sunset cruise on Ayeyarwaddy River.

Day 4: Bagan Sightseeing
After breakfast, start your day by visiting Minkaba Gubyaukyi Temple; take note of the architectural differences between MyaZedi Pagoda and the Manuha Temple.
This afternoon, enjoy an exotic horse cart ride to one of the largest temples in Bagan: Nan Paya Pagoda along with many other interesting sites nearby. The highlight of today is the panoramic sunset view from the second highest pagoda in Bagan, the ShweSandaw Pagoda.

Day 5: Bagan – Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay Hill
Known as the hub of Buddhism, Mandalay is a realm of stupas, monks and monasteries. The most fascinating and intriguing part of the day will be the time studying the monks during their worship and meals.
Drive to Mandalay pier to embark on a private boat upstream to visit Mingun, famed for its huge and incomplete Pahtodawgyi Pagoda and Mingun Bell, the 90-ton ringing bell (second largest in the world).
In the afternoon, visit Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery – noted for its exquisite woodcarvings and gold leaf beating workshop, Kuthodaw Pagoda – known as the world’s biggest book and finish the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset and a beautiful panoramic view of the city.

Day 6: Mandalay – Sagaing – Amarapura
Twenty kilometers outside of Mandalay rests Sagaing Hill. Discover the numerous Buddhist monasteries; visit Buddha Cave, Uminthonze Pagoda and Sunooponnyashin Pagoda. Behold the panoramic view of Mandalay.
The next stop is Amarapura. Famous for Mahagandaryone Monastery, Amarapura is the best place to experience the way of life for monks in Mandalay. Walk over Ubein Wooden Bridge, the longest teakwood of its type, to Mahamuni Image – a bronze Buddha image castled during the lifetime of Buddha himself.

Day 7: Mandalay Fly to BKK- Fly to Vientiane
Enjoy your free time before our driver will provide transfers to the airport for your flight to Vientiane. Upon arrival at the airport in Vientiane you are greeted by a guide who will then escort you to the hotel.

Day 8: Vientiane – City Tour – Fly to Luang Prabang
Today we have a full day to explore Vientiane- the charming and fascinating capital of Laos , one of the classic Indo Chinese cities which conjure up exotic images, with its intriguing mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, American and Soviet influences. Our visit will take you to the key sites: National Museum, Wat Sisaket the city ‘s oldest surviving temple with thousands of silver and porcelain images in the gloriously authentic temple compound that offers you a glimpse into the Vientiane of the past, the next stop is Haw Phra Kaeo. This large temple is beautiful both interiorl and exterior, it was built to house the famed Emerald Buddha in courtyards filled with frangipani trees.
In the afternoon a stop at the older part of Morning market is recommended before the visit Pha That Luang. The giant golden stupa is a sight to see as the bright gold holds a sharp contrast to the pure blue sky. Next you will go to climb the Arc De Triomphe of Laos, Patuxai. The massive arch has a beautiful mosaic tiled ceiling and once at the top you can see for miles around Vientiane. Later today, take a short flight to Luang Prabang.

Day 9: Luang Prabang – World Heritage Site
This morning you may want to wake up early and participate in the daily early morning ritual of saffron-clad monks with their black Alms-giving bowls being given offerings from the local people, including the ubiquitous sticky rice.
After breakfast we will start this city sightseeing tour around Luang Prabang town. We visit the vegetable market and the former King’s Palace in the UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang learning about today’s life and history. Luang Prabang is maybe the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights, like the Wat Xieng Thong, make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. Later in the day we’ll visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham.
In the evening, ready for sunset, climb up to the top of Phu Si Mountain for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa. From this awe-inspiring vista, take in the beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. At the Night Market, you can find a lovely collection of handmade textiles crafted by local and hill-tribe people surrounding Luang

Day 10: Luang Prabang – Cooking Class
We start the day by meeting at a restaurant and before transferring to the local market.
Learn more about the market while taking in the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy place. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and purchase some of the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson. You will be transferred to a picturesque lakeside pavilion where you will be introduced to the Laos kitchen.
The chef will give you an introduction to all the fresh ingredients you have just bought from the market.
Learn how to make Jeow, this is a spicy Laotian dipping sauce and Mok Pa, a popular fish dish steamed with herbs in banana leaves….
Enjoy the tastes of your newly discovered recipes for lunch.
