Day 1: Mandalay Arrival – Sagaing – Amarapura

You will be greeted by our guide at the Mandalay International Airport and transferred you to your hotel.
After some refreshments, we leave the city for Sagaing Hill. We explore the highlights from Budda Cave, Uminthonze Pagoda, Sunooponnyashin Pagoda. Our next stop is Amarapura. The Mahagandaryone Monastery of Amarapura is one of the most famous monasteries throughout the country. Here you can experience the monks’ life. We reach the nearby U Bein Wooden Bridge. In the sunset, we walk over the longest teakwood of its type to Mahamuni Image – a bronze Buddha image castled during the lifetime of Buddha himself.

Day 2: Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay Palace – Mandalay Hill

This morning, we head to Mandalay pier, embarking on a private boat upstream to visit Mingun. Now we get ready for the incomplete Pahtodawgyi Pagoda. Head to Mingun Bell, 90-ton bell which is the world 2nd largest one and still in good condition. Don’t forget to ring it. In the afternoon, we head to Mandalay Palace – the last royal palace of the last Burmese monarchy and Shwenandaw Monastery- the single remaining major original structure of the original Royal Palace today. Proceed to Kuthodaw Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa that contains the world’s largest book. If time permits, we have a visit to the gold leaf beating workshop. Finish the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset and the panoramic view of the city.

Day 3: Mandalay – Fly to Heho – Drive to Kalaw

Take the morning flight to Heho. Get picked up and transferred to Kalaw.
Located on the mild highland of Shan state, Kalaw exposes a green natural beauty combining the exotic life of ethnic minorities and pine plantations. Take time to discover the town or relax on your own.

Day 4: Kalaw trekking to Ywa Py village

Starting our trek from Kalaw town, first we will pass through the village that close to Kalaw. Those places get a lot of jackfruit, coffee, damson, grape fruits trees. It has grown by villagers. After that we walk up the hill through the Ox-cut way to view point, and we see the tea plantation. After lunch we visit to the Palaung village which named Khim Kha Gone. Continuously we have 2-hour trekking to Danu village. Then we go along the railway to reach way station. Finally, we walk for 30 minutes to Ywa Pu (Taung Yoe) village and stay overnight there.

Day 5: Ywa Pu Village – Htee Thein

get start our trek and heading to Lamin (Pa.O) village, it takes 2 hours. After lamin village, we will continue to Pin New (Pa.O) and Paw Kai (Danu) village. From Paw Kai, it takes about 1 hour to Khone Hla (Danu) village. Along our trek, we pass the green plantation such as Potato, Chili, Sesame, Ginger and Corn plantation and take a lunch at khone Hla village. Now we trek to Pat To Pauk – Hti Teing village for 2,5 hours and stay overnight at a huge old architect style monastery.

Day 6: Htee Thein – Indein – Inle Lake

Today we go trekking to Kyauk Su (Pa.O) village for 30 mins after breakfast. After Kyauk Su village is Nam Yoek village, which takes 45 minutes. Then we walk down the hill and get to Inn Dein (Intha) village. At Indein, we will see the kidney bean plantation. We will take a lunch at small local restaurant at Indein.
After lunch, enjoy the relaxing motorboat ride to Phaungdawoo Pagoda. This magical place is also believed to be the holiest in Inle Lake. The most unique scene of this lake is the one leg rower that appears nowhere else in Myanmar. Your evening is free on your own.

Day 7: Inle Lake discovery

Breakfast at hotel. This morning continue the trip to 5-day market. On each day, the market is held in one of 5 different places around the lake. This market provides chance to see the local people sells and buy things. You will also meet the tribes in their colorful clothing. Now we take the boat trip at Phaungdawoo Pagoda, which is believed as the holiest pagoda of Inle Lake. Continue to Ngaphechaung monastery – an impressive wooden monastery over the lake. The monastery is also called “jumping cat pagoda” as in the past, the cats were trained to jump through the hoops. The next stop is Nam Pan village where we visit the cotton and lotus weaving factory, cigar making houses…; the sites will provide you with the interesting time interacting with the Intha people.

Day 8: Heho – Fly to Yangon – City tour

This day we leave Inle Lake for Yangon in the morning. Spend a full day exploring Yangon and its highlights from Shwedagon pagoda, the most sacred Buddhism place in Yangon and also the oldest pagoda in the world. This site cannot be missed in tour. The next stop is Sule Pagoda, at the central city. Now we have the stroll to the exotic streets of Yangon downtown with the British Colonial building as Emmanuel Church, Inland Water Buildings. The day ends by your shopping time at the Bogyoke Market (formerly Scott’s market), one of the biggest markets in Yangon. (Be advised that the market is closed on Monday and public holidays).

Day 9: Yangon Departure

After breakfast, you are free until your departure time. Our driver will take you to Yangon International Airport for your flight home.
