Day 1: Yangon – Fly to Loikaw

This morning, we take the flight from Yangon to Loikaw. Arrive at Loikaw airport, a guide of Burma Travel will await you and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy your own leisure for the panoramic and sunset view from hill of Taungkwe Zeti, famous land mark of the area.

Day 2: Loikaw – Trekking to long neck hill tribe

After breakfast, visit the local market at Loikaw; capital of Kayah State. The place still remains as an untouched attraction where you can observe traditional ways of Kayah people. We have the extension to nearby villages like Sunboon Padaun, meet the unique Kayah ladies wearing brass rings around their extra ordinary long neck, experience their traditional weaving industry and wonderful ritual flagstaffs of Nat (spirit) worshipers, visit Kayah state museum.

Day 3: Loikaw – Drive to Inle Lake

Breakfast. Drive to Moe Byae and visit some Padaung Villages. Proceed to Hpae Khone for boat trip (approx. 6 hrs) to Inle Lake. On the way we stop at Sagar village which was once a Shan Prince village. Walk through this quiet village, talk to the villagers and visit the remains of some old pagodas. Now we explore Thakong ancient pagodas, pottery village and Kyainkham village famous for the production of fibers made out of lotus trunks.

Day 4: 5 days market – Inle Lake boat trip

Breakfast at hotel. This morning continue the trip to 5-day market. On each day, the market is held in one of 5 different places around the lake, it is the place where you see the local people sells and buy things, also the great chance to meet the tribes from the surroundings with their colorful clothing. Now we boat take you to Phaungdawoo Pagoda that is believed as the holiest pagoda of Inle Lake. Now we go to Ngaphechaung monastery – an impressive wooden monastery over the lake. The monastery is also called “jumping cat pagoda” as in the past, the cats were trained to jump through the hoops. The next stop is Nam Pan village where we visit the cotton and lotus weaving factory, cigar making houses…; the sites provides you with the interesting time interacting with the Intha people.

Day 5: Inle – Departure

This morning is your leisure, and our driver picks you up at hotel for the transfer to Heho Airport. Get ready for your onward flights.
