Essential of Myanmar 12 Days

We returned from a 12 day trip to Myanmar, in mid-January 2019, and it was absolutely amazing. I offer my congratulations to the travel company, Asia Travel and Leisure (aka Burma Travel) for their faultless organisation and arrangements. The Tour was expertly planned and perfectly executed. The standard of hotels was superb. At the hub of the operations was Thao Doan who sent comprehensive details of what was necessary well before our departure date. During the Tour she stayed in contact via email. I must also praise the standard of the guides and drivers – we had 4 of each on a private car tour for the two of us and all were brilliant. Their level of English was excellent and their knowledge of their country was exceptional. Khin Nandar took us around Mandalay and Pyin Oo Lwin; Kyaw (pronounced Joe/chow) guided us around Monywa and Bagan; both were highly knowledgeable, warm, friendly and kind. Later Sai expertly took us around Inle lake and finally we met Aung for only 24 hours in Yangon. All were more than helpful and personified the wonderful people of Myanmar.
We have already asked Asia Travel and Leisure to construct another tour for us to Laos and Cambodia.
I recommend them in the strongest possible manner – a genuine 10 out of 10.
