Myanmar – Laos Journey

We are back from our brilliant tour you organised for us.
I think you were right that Inle Lake is remarkable, and the Golden Rock is such a unique place. Lots of photos have been sorted and made into albums in the sleepless nights that the time shift has created.
We didn’t always do the feedback as we lost the paperwork, but can tell you the drivers and guides were all excellent. Informative, friendly, professional, punctual and individuals.
The hotels at the lake and in Yangon were especially good, but all provided us with a good standard of accommodation and food choices.
Laos as the optional extra at the end was lovely and I got to swim in the waterfall that I had missed out on last time. Again a really good guide, and with an extra day we had some time at rest in the afternoon. That hotel was gorgeous and we were sad to leave.
On the way back we broke the journey in Dubai. What a culture shock. I wish we had stayed in the East much longer rather than visit this shopping centre on steroids, but we have seen UAE now and that will be enough.
We hope to be going back to your area with friends next year so you may have more business. Are there any options for the highland areas of Vietnam?
Right, good work Thao, we had a lovely time, felt very well in the climate in that time of year, and the healthy food.
